Questions, answered.
The questions founders ask us before a first call, in one place. If yours is not here, ask us.
How an engagement works
How we workWhat happens on the first discovery call?
It is a free 15-minute call to understand your product, where it stands today, and what done means for you. For AI-built apps, we ask to see the codebase or a live build. You leave knowing whether we are a good fit.
Will I get a written quote before work starts?
Yes. You receive a written scope with deliverables, milestones, timeline and price before any work starts. Changes to scope go through a written change request, so nothing is added to the price silently.
How will I see progress while it is being built?
We work in short sprints with a live staging environment and a demo at the end of each one, so you see real progress every week.
Who owns the code when the project is handed over?
Code is committed to your own repositories and deployed to your own cloud accounts. IP for each milestone transfers to you when that milestone is paid. Bug fixes are covered for the warranty period stated in your agreement.
Pricing
PricingDo you offer custom quotes outside these packages?
Yes. These packages cover the most common scopes. If your requirements don't fit exactly, schedule a consultation and our engineering team will provide a tailored architecture proposal within 24 hours.
Why are INR and USD prices different ratios?
They are calibrated to market support expectations. USD pricing reflects international time-zone overlap, cross-border banking, and dedicated international SLA coverage.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price quoted in your proposal is what you pay. Third-party infrastructure costs (cloud hosting, domains, third-party API subscriptions) are always itemized upfront.
Does hosting cost extra?
Infrastructure costs are paid directly to your cloud provider (Vercel, AWS, Supabase, etc.). We set up and configure everything for you with zero markup.
Can I upgrade my package later?
Absolutely. Many clients start with an MVP or Starter package and expand to Growth or Enterprise as traction builds. We credit your initial package toward the upgrade.
Do you offer milestone payment plans?
Yes. Standard terms are 50% on kickoff and 50% on deployment. For larger enterprise builds, we structure milestones across 3 to 4 deliverable-backed sprint phases.
How fast can our project begin?
We typically initiate technical discovery within 3-5 business days of signing. We maintain strict project capacity limits to guarantee engineering focus.
Do you sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)?
Yes. We sign strict bilateral NDAs before discussing proprietary details or sensitive codebase access.
Contracts and IP
Contracting & IPWho owns the code and IP I pay for?
You do. Intellectual property for each milestone is assigned to you when that milestone is paid. Code is committed to your repositories and deployed to your cloud accounts. Your signed agreement is the binding document, and this page only summarises how we contract.
Do you sign an NDA before I share product details?
Yes. We sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before you share anything sensitive, including credentials, data and unreleased product plans. The agreement is mutual, so it protects both sides, and it comes before any work involving sensitive material starts.
How is a fixed-scope project billed?
Fixed-scope work is billed by milestone. Deliverables, timelines and commercial terms are set out in a Statement of Work or Master Services Agreement before work begins, and scope changes are agreed in writing as a change request before they are built.
Is there a warranty after launch, and which law applies?
Fixed-scope projects include a post-launch bug-fix warranty, and its length is stated in your agreement. Agreements are governed by the laws of India, as set out in our Terms of Service.
Who we work with
Who we work withWho is ZoVintra a good fit for?
Founders with an AI-built app that is not ready for real users, startups that need an MVP built properly, and small and mid-size businesses that need internal tools, billing, inventory, CRM or customer portals built around how they operate.
Can you work on a prototype built with Lovable or Bolt?
Yes. If you built a prototype with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Replit or a no-code tool and it is not ready for real users, we finish, secure and launch it.
Do you hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification?
No. We are a small, founder-led company, and we build to your requirements but do not hold SOC 2 or ISO 27001 ourselves. If you need a vendor with those certifications already in place, we would rather say so on the first call.
When are you probably not the right team?
If you need the lowest possible price over a well-built product, or want work to start with no written scope or milestones, we are probably not a fit. A free 15-minute call will tell you honestly either way.
Solutions and industries
SolutionsCan you finish an app I built with Lovable, Bolt or Cursor?
Yes. Launch & Rescue is for apps you built yourself: we handle deployment, go-live and rescue so the app is finished and kept running. We start with a technical audit of the generated code and preserve the working frontend and user flows where possible.
What kind of custom software do you build?
Custom Software covers business tools built around your operations, such as inventory, billing and ERP. Internal tools, billing, inventory and customer portals are built around how your business actually works rather than forced into an off-the-shelf product.
Do I own the code, domain and cloud accounts?
Yes. Databases, hosting, payment gateways and domain records are set up in your own company accounts, and source code and documentation are transferred to you at milestone sign-off. Your signed agreement is the binding document for ownership terms.
What do AI Agents & Automation include?
AI assistants and workflow automation that take work off your team, with guardrails, built on your own data. Listed areas are AI agents, LLM automation and RAG systems. Web, mobile, UI/UX, CRM, SEO and hosting are available as supporting services.
Does ZoVintra hold PCI DSS, HIPAA or SOC 2 certification?
No. The standards shown on each industry card are the frameworks relevant to that sector. We build to your requirements and do not hold these certifications ourselves.
Which industries do you build software for?
Listed sectors are FinTech and banking, healthcare and MedTech, logistics and fleet telematics, enterprise SaaS and ERP, real estate and PropTech, CleanTech and utilities, high-volume e-commerce, restaurant and hospitality POS, and sports and live ticketing.
Can you build a telehealth or healthcare platform?
The healthcare card lists telehealth platforms built to HIPAA requirements, EHR and clinical workflow automation, AI-assisted triage and medical device telemetry ingestion, using FHIR API standards. We build to your requirements and do not hold HIPAA certification.
What is the Industry Technical Audit?
It is a specialised architecture audit where our engineers evaluate your compliance posture, data schemas and scalability bottlenecks under strict NDA. You can request it from the page, or book a 15-minute discovery call instead.
The project planner
Project plannerHow accurate is the timeline this planner gives?
It is a guide for your chosen scope, not a quote. We confirm timeline and price in writing after a discovery call, so treat the range as a ballpark to plan around before talking to us.
What project types can I estimate?
You can pick finishing an AI-built app, a web app or SaaS product, a mobile app built from a single codebase, or custom business software such as internal tools, billing, inventory, CRM and customer portals.
What do I get at the end of a project?
A written scope, milestones and price, code in your own repository, deployment to your own cloud account, IP ownership transferred per paid milestone, and a post-launch bug-fix warranty.
Do features like payments or AI search change the estimate?
Yes. You can add user accounts and roles, payments and subscriptions, live updates, offline support, AI search over your documents, or an AI assistant that takes actions. Each choice adjusts the rough timeline and the likely tools shown.
